The content of the Lecture:
Liangwang City Ruins is the biggest city site of Warring States Period in the northern Jiangsu. Together with the surrounding coeval Eya city site and Jiunvdun tomb, all the three complete the historical framework of Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods in Huang-Huai region. From 2004 to 2009, Xuzhou Museum explored and excavated Liangwang City Ruins lasting for 5 years and achieved important outcomes. This lecture will provide us an opportunity to realize the rarely-known stories of Liangwang City Ruins and Archaeology team.
The Introduction of the Lecturer:
Yuanfeng is the vice-curator of Xuzhou Museum and graduated from Henan University. He, as the leader of archaeology team, engaged in field work for a long time. He presided over or took part in 20 excavated work and achieved 3rd-level reward of national archaeological field work and advanced individual of Jiangsu provincial protection project of South-to-North Water Diversion. He wrote and published 20 excavating reports, brief report and papers.
