Work Plan in 2017

I. Archaeological work. Continue the excavation of Tushan Mountain Han Tomb No. 2 and the protection of cultural relics; advance the data collation work; do a good job in the rescue archaeological excavation work.

II. Cultural relics protection. Implement the preventive protection project of cultural relics in the collection; complete the content of preventive protection work such as "environmental monitoring system for the preservation of cultural relics in collections", "microenvironment control of cultural relics preservation"; organize the project acceptance; Yunshan jade coffin cleaning and restoration research and restoration report; compile the "Reservation and Restoration Plan for the Unearthed Cultural Relics of the Han Tombs in Tiesha Mountain" and "The Protection and Restoration Plan for the Unearthed Cultural Relics of the Han Chu King Tombs (Phase I)". Complete the preservation and restoration project of paper cultural relics in the collection; complete the protection and restoration of more than 70 cultural relics entrusted by the Suining County Museum; complete the protection of archaeological site cultural relics; further improve the work flow and technical specifications.

Ⅲ. Do five overseas cultural relics exhibitions in the United States and Germany. Respectively: February to May 2017, "Treasures of the King's Tomb: New Discovery of Archaeology of the Han Dynasty in China" held at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco, USA; March to July, "Qin and Han Civilization Exhibition" held at the Metropolitan Museum of New York, USA; May-November, "Dream of Chu King-Yuyi and Eternal Life, Cultural Relics of the Han Dynasty of Xuzhou Museum", held at the China Art Museum of the American Society for the Advancement of American Society; December 2017-April 2018 in Nielsen.Art, USA "The Dream of King Chu-Yuyi and Eternal Life, Cultural Relics of the Xuzhou Museum" held by the Golden Museum; "China and Egypt: the Origin of Two Civilizations" held at the National Museum in Berlin, Germany, May-November 2017.

IV. Improve the level of free opening and complete the audio guide system. We held public welfare exhibitions and popular science lectures throughout the year, compiled 1-2 volumes of popular science books on social sciences, and continued to carry out the "Tracing out the Ancient Pengcheng" education activities. It is planned to introduce such exquisite cultural relics exhibitions as "Exhibition of Cultural Relics Excavated from the Tomb of Emperor Yang Jing of Han Jing", "Exhibition of Chu Culture of Nanyang Archaeological Institute (Intention)".

V. Informatization work. Start the construction of a digital database and organize the implementation of the "Digital Protection of Fine Cultural Relics in Xuzhou Museum" project.

VI. Pay attention to safe production and protect the relics.
