The Exhibition of Xuzhou Museum“Dreams of the Kings：a Jade Suit for Eternity-Treasures of Han Dynasty from Xuzhou”Won the International, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Cooperation Award of “Top 10 Fine Exhibition of the Museum in Jiangsu Province”

      On October 22, 2019, the report review was held in Nanjing Museum, and the first selection results were officially announced on October 30. The exhibition of "dream of the king of Chu: jade suit for eternity - treasure of the Han Dynasty from Xuzhou Museum", which was selected by Xuzhou Museum, stands out from many works with high-quality content form design and exquisite exhibition production, and won the international, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan cooperation awards.

      The China Art Museum of Huamei association was founded in 1926 by John Dewey, Paul Monroe, Hu Shi, Guo Bingwen . It is a non-profit folk cultural institution. It aims to introduce Chinese civilization and culture to the western world through various education and publicity activities, and enhance mutual understanding between the Chinese and American people.

      In order to strengthen cultural exchanges between China and the United States and promote the world communication of Chinese culture, Xuzhou Museum and China Art Museum of Huamei Association launched a large-scale boutique Exhibition "dream of the king of Chu: Jade Suit and Eternity - treasure of Han Dynasty from Xuzhou" from May to November 2017. The exhibition focuses on many fine cultural relics reflecting the political, military system and cultural life of the Chu state in the Western Han Dynasty, microcosmic display of the culture and history of the Chu state in the Han Dynasty, and a complete set of burial jade, especially the golden wisp jade unearthed from the tomb of the king of Chu in the Shizishan mountain from Xuzhou, intuitively display the unique funeral culture of the Han Dynasty and the concept of life and death of the Han people behind it. The purpose of this paper is to make the American audience understand the general situation of the Western Han Empire under the "parallel system of counties" and the unique funeral culture and the concept of life and death behind the unique funeral culture of the Royal aristocrats who pursue "eternal life" by "jade suit" burial.

      The exhibition has received significant respond in the American cultural circle and the Chinese cultural circle. Many mainstream media have reported on it, and the audience is endless. After the exhibition at the China Art Museum of Huamei Association in New York, it was later exhibited at the Nelson Art Museum in Kansas City, which also received high praise.
