      With the bright moon in mind, the gentle wind comes out of the sleeves, the Zen is elegant, and the calligraphy is full of fragrance; the Chinese painting and calligraphy art is the treasure of Chinese traditional culture, and also plays an important role in the world art palace. The pure land of Buddhism, the land of Dharma, and the art of calligraphy and painting, with its unique cultural spirit and strong cultural accumulation, vividly and meticulously publicize the charm of art and guide the sense of life.

     The culture of Huaihai area is very profound. From Pengzu culture to Laozi's enlightenment, Confucius and Mencius; from Wind Song to Dongpo drunken in Huangmaogang; from Zhang Boying's new style of writing to Li Keran’s ink painting, the Huaihai region has been culturally brilliant since ancient times, with many outstanding people. Moreover, as one of the sources of Chinese Buddhism, Buddhism in this region has a long history. In the thousands of years of Chinese civilization, as a part of Chinese traditional culture, Buddhist culture has made great achievements with the times. The art of Buddhist painting and calligraphy is even more fruitful and glittering, and there have been numerous Buddhist figures with profound artistic skills. Today, inheriting the traditional road, in response to the initiative of the "Huaihai Buddhist Forum" with the purpose of "exchange and mutual learning, harmonious coexistence", we hold this painting and calligraphy activity, which is also a cultural inheritance in this place of spiritual essence.

      his painting and calligraphy activity is a collection of nearly 100 works of more than 90 famous Buddhist painters in ten cities of Huaihai Economic Zone, such as Xuzhou, Lianyungang, Suqian, Zaozhuang, Shangqiu, Huaibei, Suzhou, Linyi, Heze, Huai'an. The works perfectly annotate the Buddhism of the world with their vivid brushwork and meaning of Zen, and promote the Buddhism culture to the world, to further push forward the ecological civilization of Buddhism has a very important practical significance.

      Huaihai economic zone is one of the earliest regional economic cooperation organizations in China. Since the construction of regional integration, the cooperation and exchange between cities have been deepened, and the cultural interaction has been strengthened. The brilliant cultural and artistic achievements can objectively inspire people's consideration of the diversity of outlook on life, world outlook and values, and promote the rational integration of individual life design concepts, thus promoting the rational integration of individual life design concepts. The overall material civilization of the society goes to a higher level. In order to achieve the goal of balanced development of regional cultural undertakings and better drive the common progress of regional culture, the guiding ideology of holding this painting and calligraphy activity is to unite the Buddhist circles in the region to carry forward the spirit of loving the party, patriotism and religion, and firmly establish the common sense of the Chinese nation and the Buddhist culture. We should carry forward the legitimate law, solemnly state our territory, be happy and affectionate, and strive to practice the socialist core values. We should inherit and carry forward the fine traditions of the Chinese nation, adhere to the orientation of socialism of Buddhism, actively take the right path of Buddhism that is compatible with the socialist society with Chinese characteristics, explore the Buddhist cultural heritage and resources in our region, and firmly adhere to the Buddhist philosophy of compassion, wisdom, tolerance, equality and peace.

      Life is different, but the light of the sea is the guide; where one sees, there is the understanding of art. Fleeting, vicissitudes of life, heart of Buddhism is relatively small.
