Pengcheng in history is not only a place for strategists to fight for, but also a cradle of culture and art. From the southern and Northern Dynasties through the Tang Dynasty to the later Tang Dynasty, there were artists such as Liu Li, Liu Gao and Li Yu. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were Yan Ermei and Wan Shouqi. In the late Qing Dynasty, Li Lan and Zhang Boying were well-known.

After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Wang Ziyun, Xiao Longshi, Li Xuehong became famous in painting. After that, there are Li Keran, Zhu Dequn, Zhu Dan, He Jingzhi and other masters to the art circle.

      Pengcheng Painting Academy has a long way to go. My way ahead is long; I see no ending; yet high and low I'll search with my will unbending.

Yang Zhenting

He has successively studied in the graduate courses of Chinese Painting Department of Zhejiang Academy of fine arts and Chinese Painting Department of China Academy of fine arts. He got Master of Arts from Nanjing University. He is a member of China Artists Association, vice chairman of Xuzhou Artists Association, Professor of the school of fine arts of Jiangsu Normal University, supervisor of master of fine arts and master of education arts.

Wang Jigang

He has successively studied in Jiangsu literature and Art College, Chinese painting high research class of China Artists Association, and Longrui landscape painting graduate course class. Now he is a landscape painter of FengHuangLing Art Museum, Beijing, China, academician of China ink and wash Research Institute, member of China Poetry Society, member of Jiangsu Artists Association, vice president of China painting and Calligraphy Research Institute, vice director of Art Committee of China painting and calligraphy network, and director of Xuzhou Artists Association , executive director of Xuzhou Federation of literature and art academy, President of Xuzhou Pengcheng Academy of painting, honorary curator of Xiao Longshi Art Museum. His works have participated in national competitions (exhibitions) for many times and won awards, and published many collections of paintings.

Graduated from Nanjing Art College, he is a member of Jiangsu Artists Association, a special researcher of Jiangsu literature and art research center, Deputy Secretary General of Xuzhou Artists Association, and executive director of China Suyuan calligraphy and Painting Institute. Zhang Daqian is a senior expert in calligraphy and painting research and appreciation, a connoisseur of calligraphy and painting collection, an investment consultant of many domestic art institutions, and a professional painter. Learned from famous contemporary painters Mr. Zhou Changhai, Zhang lichen and Wu Guannan Zhu, he is now  the members of China Association for the promotion of democracy, painters of Chinese Painting Institute of FengHuangLing academy, professors of Central Academy of fine arts, painters of Zhang lichen's studio, researcher of Wu Guannan Art Center, academician of Chinese ink Research Institute, special painter of Jiangsu Academy of traditional Chinese painting, Deputy Secretary General of Xuzhou Federation of literature and Painting Institute, and Xuzhou Minjin calligraphy and Painting Institute Painter, vice chairman of the Art Federation of Gulou District, Xuzhou, chairman of the Artists Association of Gulou District.

He is an associate professor of Art College of Jiangsu Architecture College, vice chairman of Xuzhou Young Artists Association, director of Xuzhou Xichu Landscape Painting Association, member of Jiangsu Artists Association, master of art of Nanjing University Art Research Institute, visiting scholar of National Taiwan Art University. He published three works of literary theory and personal paintings, and held the Taiwan exhibition of personal works in 2014. The works are collected by Nanjing University and Taiwan Chapter Art Museum.

He studied in the first elite class of calligraphy masters of Peking University and Tao Kegao class of famous calligraphers and painters of Tsinghua Academy of fine arts. 2014 "National Art Fund" young seal cutting talents training object. He is a member of China Calligrapher Association, a member of China Minjin, a researcher of Calligraphy Art Research Institute of Peking University, a researcher of Shamonghai printing Research Association, a member of Nanjing printing society, a director of Jiangsu Jiagu printing society, and a vice president of Xuzhou Xichu printing society. His works have won many awards and been selected in the exhibition sponsored by China Book Association.

Graduated from the Chinese painting major of Nanjing Art College, he is now a full-time calligrapher of Xuzhou Academy of calligraphy and painting, a member of China Calligrapher Association, and a director of Xuzhou Calligrapher Association. The works are exhibited in the third national fan calligraphy art exhibition, the second national album calligraphy art exhibition and the first national calligraphy and painting works exhibition of "Shen Shang culture Cup". The calligraphy works are exhibited in the national 100 famous calligraphy and painting works exhibition of "great beauty Guilin". The exhibition of contemporary calligraphy, painting and seal cutting works of four famous artists is successfully held in Guangdong Art Museum, "Pengcheng painting school" Shanghai exhibition, Xi'an exhibition, Nanjing exhibition, etc.
